About the Event

The Business Roundtable Skilled Trades for America Initiative (STAI) is convening the Skilled Trades for America Forum to bring together leading CEOs, policymakers, training providers and workforce partners to examine how employers, government and community institutions can work together to strengthen skilled trades talent pipelines.

As employers across industries face persistent skilled labor shortages, the forum will highlight practical, scalable models — ranging from Registered Apprenticeships to employer-aligned training partnerships — that expand access to high-quality careers while meeting business needs. Discussions will focus on the role of private-sector leadership, policy and cross-sector collaboration in building a workforce that powers America’s economy.
