Shipchandler has over 25 years of experience growing businesses, fostering innovation and driving financial performance across global, public organizations in a variety of industries. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Shipchandler served in several other executive roles at Twilio including: President of Twilio Communications, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to Twilio, Khozema spent over two decades at GE where he drove operating and financial excellence across a variety of GE divisions, spanning Plastics and Aviation, plus Corporate roles driving accelerated growth in the Middle East and leading leadership development in Corporate Audit. He earned his bachelors degrees in Biology and English, plus a minor in Economics from Indiana University, Bloomington. He has also completed graduate coursework at the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago. Shipchandler currently serves on the boards of Twilio and Ethos and previously served on the boards of Smartsheet and Pivotal.
He has also been a periodic lecturer at the Graduate School of Business, Stanford. Outside of work, his personal interests include golf, tennis, running, reading, music, travel and most of all, spending time with his wife and two children.
